Tetra is dedicated to assisting people with disabilities to achieve an independent and fulfilling life in the community. Our purpose is to recruit skilled volunteer engineers and technicians to create assistive devices for people with disabilities.

University of Victoria Assistive Technology Team

The University of Victoria Assistive Technology Team (UVATT) creates custom devices and technologies for people with special needs. Our creations are designed to help people with physical and cognitive challenges live more independently. We harness the extraordinary resources on campus and in the community and offer students an enriching opportunity for experiential learning. Our success comes primarily from the dedication and talent of students, both undergraduate and graduate, university faculty and staff, community volunteers and also the collaboration and support of community partners. All of our projects have resulted from community requests and we are and always will be a not-for-profit organization.
