1. My computer is taking ages to log in

This happens when you have put extremely large files on your Windows Desktop or the “My documents” folder. As your account has a roaming profile (a feel and look of the desktop following you around any computer you log into), those files will be copied to the a computer every time you log in, so restrain yourself from storing large files in the desktop or “My Documents”. Store large files in your personal folder instead.

Remember that even if you did not store anything large in these folders, some programs use the “My Documents” folder by default. If your login presents this condition, look for large files that might have been created automatically by an application. In that case try to reconfigure the program that created those files automatically to store its files elsewhere.

If your login is stuck in a work station in which you just logged into, but is not the work station that you usually log into, sometimes you might be able to log in faster in your own computer (which might have a copy of the large files already, allowing you tyo log in faster) and delete the large files.
